Teith Valley Honey is a natural blend of spring and summer nectars, foraged from flowering trees, hedgerows and wild flowers in the Stirlingshire/Perthshire countryside.
All of our bees are located within foraging distance of the river Teith, with the majority close to the historic towns of Doune and Dunblane.
The flavour and colour of honey depends on the nectar and pollen collected by foraging bees. Different plant nectars contain varying amounts of sugars, proteins, minerals, vitamins and essential oils. Our bees have access to wide variety of plants which means they produce a flavoursome sweet honey. As our honey is extracted in small batches it will vary in taste as the season progresses.
Our honey is always cold extracted to preserve its natural flavours.
